BAGUIO PHOTOGRAPHERS CLUB
The Baguio Photographers Club, Inc. (BPC) started in 2007 as an online group of professional and hobbyist photographers from Baguio City. On December of that year, Mr. Art Tibaldo, a seasoned journalist, organized a gathering of Baguio Multipliers at the Baguio Media Museum, which was a huge milestone in the history of BPC as the relationships between the photographers were established.
Following that gathering, Ms. She Escobar took the initiative to create a new website called the Baguio Photographers Network, which became a hub of Baguio photographers from all over the world. The group’s name was eventually renamed from Baguio Photographers Network to the Baguio Photographers Club.
Today, the Baguio Photographers Club, Inc. consists of more than 500 photographers from all over the globe and has expanded its vision to have BPC as the foremost organization of photographers in Baguio City catering to the development of its members’ photography skills and talents towards professionalism, ethical standards and social awareness. BPC is open to anyone from Baguio who is passionate about photography, regardless of skill and equipment. The club has also recently revamped their website, baguiophotographersclub.org and regularly holds photo exhibits in various venues around Baguio City.
