Fatima Erasmo

Fatima Erasmo

Fatima Erasmo, a graduate of Psychology, was not trained in the confines of the Fine Arts academe. Thus, her works appear to be deceptively rudimentary and lacking in skill and influence. Many of her works are sparse and minimal, and the ambiguity of the images, concepts and ideas invite the participation of the audience.

In her past exhibits, she visually represented, mostly through assemblages, psychological issues and introversion, which have resonated with many people. Strangers have approached her to share how they felt, while others left profound messages in her guest books.

Fatima aspires to capture and create images with a subtle narrative and humor. When she was younger, she often contemplated the concept of true freedom. Today, she feels a sense of freedom when she creates art.
