Patric Palasi is a native of the Cordilleras, with both parents hailing from Benguet. He studied Architecture at the University of the Cordilleras and taught himself how to paint and has since then evolved into an artist of distinction.
Patric is first and foremost a watercolourist and acrylic painter, rubber cut printer, but he also paints with charcoal, or “uling,” and coffee as his medium. Benguet Arabica, and barako are some of the coffee variants he uses to stain canvas, paper and plywood.
Baguio scenes, Benguet landscapes, wooden spoons and portraiture are the main subjects of his work. He teaches watercolor and coffee painting, and is also a member of the Baguio Aquarelle Society.
